Quick look at his past injury history shows he's had a a series of hamstring and thigh injuries. He's missed games at least 4 times in the past 4 years with various leg injuries. I am guessing he's got a lingering hamstring issue and he's dealt with them over the course of his career.

Klingberg gets traded to Calgary when they returned from Sweden. It's not a conspiracy theory.
TBD will be whether the Leafs will trade Klingberg or put him on injured reserve. Unless he's traded or put on long-term IR (LTIR), the Leafs won't have much cap space. It'll be even better if the Leafs can save cap space, for what remains of the regular season, by trading him or put him on LTIR.
If he really is injured, and it happened before the signed him, can they not nullify the contract at this point??
