@Flames de Calgary

  1. I always loved watching Huby play in Florida, such a crafty and skilled forward. Really sad to see things get this bad, not just for him but for the flames. They were always my favorite Canadian team to root for out west- Johnny Hockey, Tkachuk, Money Monahan, Lindholm… now they're barely hanging on by a thread and it seems like morale is at an all-time low. Truly saddening.

  2. can you please put context in your clickbait titles. Like after the foxnews ambiguous headline, put in some keywords? try it? i like your vids, i have rec'd them to people. its gotta stop though

  3. also in context, he had one season at 92 points and the one 115 point season. he is in his 12th season…. he is not a 100 point player, that was an anomaly

  4. A Drouin assist is a thing of beauty. They just don't come often enough. And he doesn't contribute in any other area of the ice. Now he's reunited with his buddy from juniors, everything should be clicking, but it's not.

  5. Good possibility he isn't feeling confident on the flames like he was on the panthers, could be a locker room chemistry thing. Who knows whats going on behind the scenes and where his mentality is at. Sucks to see a player fall in a slump like that.

  6. As a flames fan them sending down Coranato and not signing Milano last season or giving Matthew Phillips the Calgary native a chance who was leading AHL in scoring too is just unbelievable and dumb. They deserve to lose and I hope they continue to

  7. Even if they offered him for free with 50% retained, they would never find a team willing to take him. He is not worth 5,25M, especially with how cap-strapped teams are. The absurd term attached to that contract would by itself make it too big of a risk for any team regardless. It sucks, but the Flames are completely screwed.

  8. You got to go back a while the last civil like this it was Gary Lehman, so is he the new Gary Lehman of Calgary? I would say hell yes

  9. It’s mental and it’s physical just benching him made it worse let him play 1 more if happens again just talk to him see what’s happening because obviously it’s a mental thing

  10. Grew up in Calg and mannn if I went from Florida to Canada, weather and taxes would be so depressing I’d probably lose myself too 😂

  11. Verhaeghe for Hub with 50% salary ratained 😂 Calgary has some huge issues, why the guys want to leave the team and those who chose to stay (got $$$) just don't seem to like playing there?

  12. As a panthers fan all I have to say is look how they massacred my boy wtf did you do to him can the flames not capitalize on any good player they have

  13. Heartbreaking? The guy is making 84 million dollars over 8 seasons to pout and wallow in self-pity. What is heartbreaking is there are people who bust their ass every day and live paycheck to paycheck while crybaby, spoiled-brat, athletes pull in millions of dollars to play a sport.

  14. If you hired someone for a job, and they were shit at it for over a year, what would you do?

Cut our losses and trade him for a draft pick, focusing on rebuilding the team from scratch.

  15. You guys have to be the most soft individuals to actually think this is “sad” by any means 😂😂😂 dude hasn’t done anything and gives 0 effort to his game and he’s getting paid millions to just stand around and do nothing for his team. Bench his ass until he figures out how to play again. Imagine feeling bad for guy who makes millions to just do nothing. Dude doesn’t deserve any treatment

  16. He never wanted to leave Florida, he wanted to keep playing there. He was never happy with being traded, I heard that he was in extension talks with the Panthers and the trade came as a complete surprise to him. He just isn't happy with his situation and wishes he could be a Panther again. He may also feel as though Florida's management blamed him for their lack of playoff success. That feeling may have gotten worse since the Panthers made their run to the finals last season while the Flames missed the playoffs entirely.
Simply put, Huberdeau is, always was, and will always be a Panther at heart. He gave so much for the Panthers for years and he was there for some of their worst years and emerged as a superstar when the team started to see real success, only to be shipped out of town like he was dead weight. That's enough to ruin anyone's psyche. As a diehard Cats fan, I miss Huby and wish he could come back. I hope he knows that Panthers fans loved him and valued what he brought to the table, as well as his commitment to the team over the years. Hang in there, Huby! We're cheering for you!!

  17. There's some kind of issue with the Flames org. This isn't the first player to come here and basically nosedive. I'm thinking goalies too

  18. He’s been total dogshit the entire time in Calgary. I don’t even notice when he’s on the ice ever

  19. As an Islander fan, I feel the angst you have torwards huby and that huge contract. Seems so similar in several ways.

  20. i cant help but think that video of hubes on the bench with his head down…. i swear hes just taking smelling salt bumps …and all these places kept replaying like hes crying but hes just taking nose rips loooool
