McDavid is the Mike Trout of the NHL ( a generational talent on a team that hinders him.). Edmonton needs to trade him to a team that's capable of winning the cup. Do him a favor.
The coaching change excitement is gone after 1 win maybe if these guys played up to their salaries we might have a winner or maybe Holland screwed up overvalued these guys in either case might as well watch reruns of happy days.
Watch how Edmonton's Evan Bouchard steps up to make this bonehead crosscheck @ 7:02 which really gains him and the team nothing but needing to backcheck, then gets blown past while standing flat footed, then skates half-assed back into the defensive zone, then proceeds to fan on the puck, over-corrects, never picks up a man meanwhile, two other Edmonton players are just standing there in front of the net not doing anything, which i realize "zone + 1" etc etc, but In a real zone+1 one of these guys needs to recognize the scramble (likely connor brown in this situation) and move to take a man. He is doing literally nothing, the other guy, Kulak, is doing probably the right thing protecting far side post. Even if this didn't result in a goal, it all starts with a super inefficient play by Bouchard.

The panthers played great tonight. Loved their energy and their defense was great! A hiccup at the start but overall an awesome game
