@Rangers de New York

En fait, j’aime bien Bucci mais il doit poser sa pipe à crack avec cette prise.

    Minimum? I’d say that’s probably on the high end. They were talking 8 Mil before the season and I’m sure it will end up being around 9.5-10.5 depends how much he wants to stay at the Leafs…

    Anyway what kind of magic does he thinks happening for the Rangers to afford 11.25 MINIMUM. I’d love him at the Rangers but it’s a far dream

    I think the point is that Nylander will want a big city. But almost none of the big city teams can afford to pay him appropriately.

    Him signing in Chicago is my guess

    Man the Rangers would be so fucking good if we could go back to playing with the salary cap turned off

    Ignoring any of the salary nonsense, how in the fuck does he expect either the rangers or LA to just magically get even 8 million in extra cap space?

    Cap friendly has LA literally at $1,000 projected cap space considering performance bonuses that need to be payed out this year, and they’ve got like 6 rfas to resign and no goalies next year.

    Meanwhile we’ve got 10.5 million in cap space before increases to split between Kakko, Lindgren, miller, a goalie, and half the ahl squad.

    Plus Chytil might never play again?

    Maybe nylander will sign with us for 1.5 million a year for 8 years. Show us those rangers PJs and bead spreads

    Well… The need for a RW1 is there. But the ONLY way we’d be even remotely close to affording him while keeping in mind we have to resign Shesty after next season is by offloading Panarin.. Which, in a sense isn’t a terrible trade off, but I just don’t see that happening as any team would also need to take on 100% of the rest of Panarins hit.

    Man I wish, he’s my favorite not ranger

  7. The rangers probably can’t fit this contract in rn, but if he does keep this pace or close to it, nylander should easily crack this contract. The cap should jump considerably this year so I can see a bunch of teams looking to increase their spending if they’re trying to compete.

    The Rangers aren’t going to have big money available for free agents until the Panarin and Trouba contracts are off the books in a few years. Even if there is a huge increase in the salary cap next summer the Rangers wouldn’t have the space to sign a player in the same price range as Panarin’s current deal.

    Yea, with all that cap space we have…
