In the 3 on 3 OT … I don't understand why Pasta was called off the ice IN THE PROCESS of forechecking Hedman. I just don't get it.
Regarding the offside. The Sportsnet video has a good view of it. Although Hedman's stick is clearly offside, the puck hits him in the chest while he is onside, drops right onto the blueline, then Hedman swipes it into the zone. As for the defense … Bruins outshot 45 to 26 in regulation. You can't allow 45 shots and hope to win. Nobody was blocking any shots and that's on the forwards too.
