For perspective, my Winnipeg Jets, a team many analysts called to miss the playoffs this year, has the same points gap to best in the west as the Oilers, a team many Canadian analysts were putting as their cup favorites, is from a wildcard spot. Nothing's out of reach yet, but we've seen too much of this to have any faith in this team. When they won 3 in a row I thought maybe they'd turn it around, but by now they're gonna have to get the L10 to something like 7-2-1 before I will believe they've turned anything around

Can’t believe there are people out here defending the goaltending. You guys are acting like Skinner is a bantam hockey goalie, being left out to die by the oilers D. Sure the Oilers D is awful, but Skinner is also a professional goalie who is expected to make a clutch save at least once in a while. He literally never does. Every D in the NHL let’s up some high quality shots but every professional stops them more often then not. Skinner sucks

Their defence was absolutely missing. Any other team that is half decent has been playing better defence. Might be if you have to much of a star studded roster the rest of the team loses its drive. I’d take an average team that all competes vs whatever this team is doing
