Are the Oilers done for this season?

Connor wants out
I've never seen TSN talk this much about a terrible team. Jesus Christ, the Oilers were done 3 weeks ago.
We are terrible at warm ups also
Oilers are getting what they deserve
The SKIP on thier helmuts refers to their season and effort
Woodcroft was not the problem. How about hold the players accountable for the poor play, the top 2 players are suppose to be leaders, not pouty and pissy. Play good defence and the goaltender will look less like AHL goaltenders. Schwartz is not even an AHL calibre goalie coach either. If they put in a full 60 min for the rest of the games they can still make the playoffs, but if they continue with the the lack of effort, then say goodbye to the season
Sorry Helmet
He hired a no name coach. You need a coach with a history of winning that is going to carry some weight.
“Stanley Cup Favourites” 😂
It’s over hahaha what a fucking joke of a team.
Or, as we refer to them down here, The Flames-North
Guys don't blame the goaltenders they are only as good as the defence that's in front of them, and the defencemen on this oilers team sucks. They should trade both Bouchard and Nurse and if they received a Tim Hortons coffee and a dunkin donut for the both of them I would say the probably would have come out better in the trade
Trade Connor to Toronto
Jordon Staal looked awfully comfortable dancing in the offensive zone with the puck. Nobody made it hard on him…
So let's see. Can't blame Campbell. Can't blame Woodcroft. And tonight, you can't even blame Nurse, as he got hurt in warm-ups.
And it's not only that they fire Woodcroft, but they decide to promote another AHL coach, to his first NHL coaching job. Just because Woodcroft worked out initially doesn't mean that should be the tried-and-true method if the team is struggling. If you're going to make a coaching change, you need to find an experienced coach that knows how to motivate star players. Kris Knoblauch doesn't fit that mold at all.
Their D can't d, goalies can't make a stop and forwards don't back-check past their own blueline. Enough said. They've been done since the end of October.
Agreed. They need to stand up and tell each other, STOP feeling sad for yourself. Change the goalies every single period. And push hyman and ryan onto the 1st line. Move the duo back to 3rd line. Make the team mix up and feel less predictable.
Lack of resiliency comes from a lack of leadership. McDavid is talented but is not a leader. Draisaitl needs to be a healthy scratch for a few games, utterly useless.
💩 Edmonton Coilers 💩
I might be free to lace 'em up for the Oilers if I can get some time off down at the cracker factory.
Pickard played well tonight… Skinner played like garbage. Pickard will start to suck once he starts listening to Schwartz though.
Oilers fans grasping onto the season like Rishaug is holding onto his hair folicles
Lol – "bureau chief". You cover sports, not anything important.
Quick for 2 first rounders !!!
Chop Wood,Carry Water
lovin' it 😂😂
Next thing they are going to do is fire this coach and make McDandy coach/captain Slapshot style 😂
When anything good happens the Oilers collapse…any trade partner will massacre them in value ~ they are so desperate.
Make a statement, and strip the captaincy from McDontplaydefense.
McDavid. Leadership personified.
