  1. jt miller made for the playoffs & canucks mvp EP40 reg season flash but in playoffs will get checked & snapped like a twig ext contract at best

  2. You think the first 10 games were the real Canucks? The shooting % was completely unsustainable. Slightly above .500 is probably the real level. Also, this guy is getting $12.5m if he wants it or he’s pulling a M Tkachuk

  3. every single player in the league is going to have slumps…there's no way around it…McDavid is having one heck of one, would you want him on your team even if so? Of course you do, Habs fan here, Caufield is on a goals drought for a while, do I regret that my team signed him? of course not, he'll get out of it at some point. (oh and the contract year part doesn't make much sense…considering he managed to get 102 points last year…when it was a mess of a season)

  4. I kinda know what hes feeling with a coach like Tocchet and having lots of pressure on him and once he has like 2 or 3 games that didnt have him produce lots its all in the head

  5. Lolzz your main arguments are based on the past few games??? Are you serious??? If 351 pts in 345 games does not show you track record I do not know what does!!! But yet I see all these vids saying how SLAF is making tremendous strides and Grade "A" potential where his track record is in 58 games and 15 points!?!?! So a 1 ppg STAR over 6 years is not worth it, but a 0.25 ppg BUST is on the verge or in time will become an All-Star… Clickbait or nonsense this video is… And believe me as a Flyers fan I wish you were right because we drafted Nolan Patrick in front of EP, HEISEKENAN AND MAKAR but geez a lil objectivity PLEASE!!!

  6. The way I look at it, once they signed a 30 year old guy in Miller to an 8 year deal, they forced themselves to go all in. Sure, going all in when you can't even make the playoffs and, at the time, you had the worst PK in NHL history, is maybe the stupidest thing I've ever heard this side of not making Hartford or Quebec City work as a hockey market, but this is what ownership and management want. If they give up Pettersson right now, they might as well go into a rebuild, which would be virtually impossible, because no one has any cap space – even if it goes up by a few million next year. Losing Bo worked because they ended up with Hronek, which made them a better overall team. But if they lose one of the best 2 way forwards in the game, you don't replace that, especially since the Canucks don't draft high enough or well enough historically.

  7. Mock trade for your entertainment:

    To DET: Elias Pettersson

    To VAN: Dylan Larkin
    Simon Edvinsson

  8. As someone who watches a lot of soccer, one thing i appreciate about it is that teams will sit a star player out and let them rest until they are healthy again.

  9. Why would you ever put Mikheyev and Garland on the first line alongside Petey (as was the lineup sometime last week)? Try putting him on the left wing with JT and Brock, and let's see what happens.

  10. If he wants $12M a year, he needs to pick it up fast. Right now, Miller has been doing all the heavy lifting on offense while Petey has 3 points in last 5 games.

  11. Bro… It's a long season. You have the memory of a goldfish. Have you forgotten what he did last season? and his amazing control of 5 on 5 play. Canucks fans are so braindead

  12. COMPLETELY AGREE….the game vs Avs is the exact type of game where he can be the difference maker, and he simply is NOT. If he doesn't reach another level and act like the superstar he's supposed to be, i say trade him before the deadline. Imagine the return you could get for this guy! Top level Dman, 1st rd draft picks, etc….instead of holding on to another soft swede who can't rise to the challenges when they come. Nothing against the Sedins,..but the soft play and inability to play "tough" is exactly why they lost in the finals to Boston.
I like Pettersen…but honestly the Nucks need a good ol' tough Canadian hockey player who can put the team on his back when push comes to shove…and Petey does not fit that role as a number 1 centre….in my humble opinion.

  13. Pretty sure he's playing hurt. Might be a blessing in disguise as we can sign him for cheaper. It might not happen. Thing is, this version of EP is unlike any version of EP I've ever seen. Not only is he not generating scoring chances, but he falls way too easily now, can't really stickhandle and is a major liability defensively. His passing is off too. This is only recent though (like for the past 10 games).

When he was on at the start of the season, along with the rest of the team, Nucks were almost unbeatable. When he's off, Nucks are very beatable.
