The biggest superstar for superstar trade for defencemen was Weber for Subban.
Canucks were ok last night. They carried the play for stretches. The result is probably fair for being on the road against a good team. For Vancouver to take the next step, they have to start winning those types of games. I’d say they are legit top half of the league and where it goes from there is up to them.
When Makar took the puck off Miller and scored on Demko that was a back breaker momentum wise.

Talk about the elephant in the room take a chance ask him why it is there is such, large US city exceptionalism. If Quinn Hughes was on NYR there would be no conversations needed about wether or not QH is elite tier. It would be an un assailable fact.
As a Nucks fan, I would definitely trade Hughes for Makar. Hughes could be the 2nd best d-man in the league, but Makar has it all. It's pretty hard to say no to Makar. Both Hughes and Makar are special type of d-men who don't come around often.
