Funny how some Isles fans are laughing at Rangers fans for being happy about this game, yet after the Isles first pre season game vs the Rangers they immediately began saying they were the best team in the whole league lmao.
Love seeing the young players getting a chance this season with some big minutes. Let’s see what talent we have. Lafreniere, Kakko, Chytil, and Kravtsov… this is gonna be a lot of fun!
Where is Panarin?
Glad we managed it in ot after they beat us last game but it’s pre season. But glad the younger players are doing well. All starts against Washington hopefully we take the momentum through into the season
I know they're not playing this game, but why don't Panarin and Zibanejad play on the same line usually? You look at every other team with superstar players they always play on the same line because it produces the highest quality of play. I get trying to spread out the skill in the team if you don't have a lot of depth, but the rangers have depth now. With Reaves, Goodrow, Chytil, Strome, Lafreniere, Kakko etc, it just makes sense that you would pair your best players on the first line.
Varly hurt for islanders and Isles dominate this game and Sorokin was awful couldn’t cut his angles off hoping he turns this around during regular season game!
