Bruins are a team that has to absolutely play as a team in a very structured way or they’ll make it hard on themselves. Their not the team that can just get it done based on skill and talent right now

Ok I didn’t see the game but I looked at the box score and it’s another game where the bruins not only had 6 penalties again for what the third fourth in a row and the opposing team has much less penalties. Are the bruins really committing that many more penalties? Seems off

Like the B's, I'm less concerned with this game than with our real Black Friday opponents, the NYR, that we're playing tmrw for some reason this year. I must say, though, that I'm getting pretty tired of all the critical errors Marchand appears to be making in a lot of games this year (as well as in the playoffs last year, lol). Hope he comes through and does something good tmrw…

I think we need to talk about Marchand's refusal to ever shoot the puck. We had a PP in the first period where he collected the puck in the corner and there was a wide open net if he just pulled it back and shot it, but he tried to force yet another pass and the play broke up. It's like as soon as he got the C he feels like he has to be the most unselfish player of all time.
I don't even have my usual notes. The game itself spoke everything that needed to be said. I'll try though to give some notes, no game notes though, cause like I said, game spoke enough for those not to be needed.
Firstly, playing Detroit just isn't fun. Idk why, maybe it's because they keep beating the B's, but I just don't feel massive joy when I watch the Red Wings. I bet for most of the league it's fun to watch them, they have super talented players, but just not fun watching em for me.
Secondly, Potsy did not do good in the first period, 2nd and 3rd period he was one of the better players for the B's, that turnover was brutal though (even if it was on the defense mostly for not having a man back). I tried to mostly focus on how the lines played together, but in a situation like this game where they did nothing but roll snake eyes all game, it was hard to find any line that played well. Wonder though if they had put Geekie on that Coyle line and had kept Heinen on the Poitras line if things would've been slightly different. Same with defense, no line or player played a solid game, and I understand giving Shattenkirk maintenance days, but I am currently not grooving with Mitchell's performances, never bad mind you, but definitely want to see more from him. Sway's last 2 games haven't been great, but even the best goalies will have minor slumps, he's still a top 10 goalie in the league and I expect his next game to be lights out.
That's it, genuinely. It just was one of those games where everyone wasn't grooving to the rhythm and they couldn't get anything to go their way. What's most important is to see how they respond in the next game. Go B's? GO B'SSSSSS!
QUIT PLAYING DIRTY AND DOING VICIOUS CROSS CHECKS LIKE THE A HOLE MARCHAND ON GOSTISBHERE.AND THE DIRTY CROSS CHECK BY CARLO ON DEBRINCAT ,then you wouldn’t get so many penalties.
