Listen boys bottom line is if youre a fan you love your team and wish nothing but the best. I know they make millions but still it is the best league in the world. Success only comes if all cylinders are firing. Ive been through thick and thin with my teams. My nfl team is the lions so trust me i know pain. Also these are world class athletes and trust me they are competetive to their bones. All of them. They want to win. Just dont give up on them it doesnt help the situation. They need support just like any human beings do. Theyre human they have families and problems like us just take it easy on them and see how it plays out. Also they are just players not management they play the hand theyre dealt. Go oil i never lose faith in my teams. I just watch thats it.

Bouchard is so bad defensively he is almost unplayable.
RELAX guys, they're starting to click… FINALLY….still some bad defensive decisions, and the 2nd goal Skins or whoever we use, need to make those kinds of saves as a norm. We're starting to show life again, Vegas will be a good test to see if weve woken up.

I think that being this happy over a aging Washinton and rebuilding Anehiem isnt much to be happy about next game is the test if they beat Vegas than i can garuntee that the oilers will be clawing back as a canucks fan i would rather see us play a red hot oilers then what luke warm hockey theyve been playing

The first period actually "seemed" close with it going back and forth a lot. Then reality (otherwise known as McDavid (with a side dose of Hyman, Nurse, well the list goes on) set in and the Ducks got an a$$ whoopin). PK was perfect. PP went 2 for 6 (so only 1/3rd (chortle). They gave up a lot less penalties (which is good). Biggest surprises: Hamblin, Erne, Desharnais (2 point night, does anyone remember that happening like EVER), both first and second PP scored. Nurse with 3 apples. Honestly Draisaitl, Kane, and Desharnais must be slacking only having 2 point nights not 3 or more (I jest of course). Bouchard ONLY getting one point and it wasn't even a goal (and he didn't take a shot). Right now Hyman leads the team in goals (HYMAN). Something must have happened to Leon because his minutes were way down, the number of faceoffs he took were way down. The ONLY people with
's in the +/column were Ceci (who didn't play all that bad), McLeod, and Foegele. Everyone else 0 or higher. In the base information area the only two huge differential sets are hits (38 for the Ducks, 24 for the Oilers) and the PP goals (2 of 6 for Oilers, 0 for 3 for Ducks). Other than that pretty even. The BIG positive is Coach Kris has figured out how to spring breakaways again & Nurse has already mastered it. A set play for when the Oilers have a face off in their zone… if they win the draw now someone is immediately bolts full speed towards the opponents zone expecting a long pass. Happens quick. Win draw… long hard pass… boom!! instant breakaway (if it’s a good pass). Nurse looked like Leon passing last night running that play. Now I’m glad when we have face offs in our zone. Good chance a breakaway will happen!!
Tuesdays is going to be interesting, as I really enjoy watching both Edmonton and Vegas, but in the end, Vegas can take a loss, Edmonton can’t, so hoping to see Edmonton come up big tomorrow, and hopefully Skinner can make some big saves.

The difference that I've noticed on the past two games is the 'lazy' skating seems to have been stopped.
Draisaitl was the king of lazy skating, still is, but you can see when puts his feet in a rush he makes amazing plays.

Your not going to keep these top oilers down forever, their too good for that, but the team overall needs to step up, consistently working hard.
I hope we never forget to fire the goalie coach, get a stanley cup goalie, get bugstad, kostin and barrie back, get rid of Holland. We can't win the cup with McDavid alone, this team needs help from Oilers management. Let's keep the pressure on.
Actually it’s 9 to 2 just ask Our Swedish player the goal was in but referees couldn’t acknowledge it because they were looking at film. I agree with Echolm !
If they beat Vegas and hopefully they will and then get whooped by the Jets then back to square one but if they can at least beat Vegas and be competitive against the jets then I’ll be pretty confident they’re back especially since mcdavid has got it going now.Skinner still shaky in net my biggest worry going forward because they seem to be content to let Campbell get in a groove if he can before they make a trade and it could be to late if that’s the plan.
