There are a lot of people in this sub over valuing Nylander because of his hot start.
Anything over 9.5x 8 is an overpay. The only aspect making things difficult is our internal cap, hopefully our new GM can clean up that mess.

Here a question for you guys so let’s say Nylander gets his 11 million per year,would you be comfortable extending marner next year knowing he’ll probably be asking for 12 to 13 million?

How? He’d be $11m plus right now. There’s no way the Leafs can afford Nylander without dumping one of the other members of the core four. If they do cram him in, somehow, this team will never be able to compete. Just too top heavy with salaries, and all for guys who play a very similar skill/soft style.
