  1. I only watched the highlights but even watching the snippets, the Oilers looked like a team that was playing for the first time as a team. The teamwork and cohesiveness was gone and the Oilers looked more like a bunch of individual players instead of a team. A lot of people think that getting a good goalie will solve their problems. It'll help but it's not just the goalie that's led to this terrible start.

  2. CONNOR McDAVID to BUFFALO SABRES! This is where he has belonged since he was drafted. BUFFALO wanted MCDAVID NOT EICHEL…EICHEL was the CONSOLATION prize. MCDAVID played in ERIE and BUFFALO is joined to SOUTHERN ONTARIO by just a couple of bridges. The SABRES WILL WIN THE CUP and be a DYNASTY with this move and EDMONTON will benefit too with a shake up via a juicy trade!

  3. Go Zetterlund and Blackwood. Glad to see the spokesman for MGMBets team tank, screw McDavid.

  4. Can't put the Sharks loss on the goalies. You allow three goals, on cross crease passes in the high slot, to wide open shooters, even a bad NHL level team is going to put those in the back of the net.
The problen is, and always has been, the coaching. The Oil have always had no fornal team structure or style of game. Their front 6 are too skilled to grind or be physical and their back six aren't skilled enough to play the old school Oilers "firebrand" free wheeling offensive style. No chemistry or unity.

  5. The San Jose sharks were the better team yesterday it’s still early in the season for them to get some more wins and not lose that badly anymore I have potential for this team but rebuilds take time go sharks

  6. I mean I'm not surprised.

I thought there was a chance Oilers would lose.

It wouldn't shock me if the Flames beat the Leafs either. It's that kind of a year.

  7. Are we gonna see an Oilers/McDavid press conference where we see a tearful McDavid say the words
    “I promised Leon I wouldn’t do this”….😂

  8. Disinterested. Unstructured. Relying completely on their powerplay to score. What an absolute trainwreck of a team. This 100% HAS to be put on the coach. I am a Canucks fan, and I find that unacceptable. There is no way on this planet that the Oilers should be that bad. This all can't be just because McJesus is playing injured. There is more to this. I don't completely blame their goaltending either, although it hasn't been great. It's the entire team. Change the coach, or I think they could continue to be bad.

  9. You have to score goals to win. Right now the Oilers aren’t doing that. One or two goals a game won’t cut it. They have the ability, every one knows that. Someone inside knows what’s wrong , they have to speak up and a leader needs to lead. Is there too many big egos and entitlement issues for any coach to succeed?

  10. This is exactly what this oilers team has been the last several years. The only difference is that this year the oilers haven't been able to out score their defensive and goaltending issues. This is what happens when a team built around a juggernaut offense, looses its offense.

  11. Oilers have always been operated. GM is a hack. McDavid please come to Chicago.

  12. McDavid was waived today. He was picked up by the Flyers, who proceeded to bench him because Torts didn't like that he didn't dump the puck into the corners every time he touched the puck. He's got to play Torts' old-fashioned, not-relevant-to-today's NHL, style of hockey if he wants to see ice time.

  13. I think the Oilers lost a few games heading into the Classic with the Flames and he was brought back way too soon.

  14. It’s funny to me to see the trolls and haters come out any time Edmonton or Toronto do bad. It’s like so many have waited for this to get their beaks and chirps in. Oilers will come back they won’t stay down all season so get your licks in now while you can.

  15. “Macklin/Celebrini Bowl” whoever gets Eiserman wins the draft he’s hands down the best prospect in the draft

  16. Oilers and Sharks suffer the same faith this year Sir. For now, those two teams are battling for who's going to end the season dead last. Therefore, they had all the reasons to lose to the Sharks. Look at the statistics. Sharks are 32th place in NHL standings followed by Oilers on rank 31th. They just have to lose vs Seattle to get the honors to be the worst team in the NHL.

  17. As a Kings fan this just puts a smile on my face.🙂🙂
Only because (like any fan base) you have the fans that make you dislike a team sooooo bad, and I just know they crying rn lol! Btw the fans I’m referring to are the ones that call Connor “Mcjesus”🤡💀

  18. I wouldn't throw all the hope out if you're a oilers fan. Remember that St. Louis Blues were at the bottom of the ranks in 2018-19 season. They got Binnington in the net and they fixed their D… And won the Stanley cup later in the spring….

  19. Somehow the Oilers manage to make the Flames ownership group look good in comparison. That's impressive. Has Alberta Hockey ever been this bad?

  20. They sent Campbell down, but then put his twin in net and expected any better?

  21. What happens if the Oilers sit His Ego for "… a couple of weeks… " and the team responds with a string of victories? Sure that's unlikely and I'm sure Darnell Nurse would have a thing or two to say about that, but what if? And maybe he isn't injured and is just sulk-sucking, then what? Two of the biggest names in hockey are on this team, surrounded by a bunch of no names and a goalie with a .907 SP. Last year they got the benefit of the doubt with the puck rolling their way. This year we see the truth, they just aren't deep enough to be a threat to anyone. Interesting vid, thanks for the thoughts, let's hope they figure it out.

  22. If i may offer a Vid topic suggestion.
There's this CBJ prospect that is having a splash like no other in the QMJHL.
Consider this : All the players in the top 70 points scorers in this league, absolutely all 70 of them have played 15 games or more, all save for 1 kid, ranked 11th right now with 24 points… in only 9 games !!! 11 goals, 13 assists in 9 games in a league than now has much better goaltending all across than several years ago, a freakin 2.67 ppg ! He's even projected to shatter Connor Bedard's record in the CHL (he already racked in 140 pts last year in the Q while Bedard got 143 in the WHL. Bedard played first line, that Dumais kid did not).

  23. From what I hear Edmonton has essentially 2 backup goalies. If they were smart they’d draft a goalie. Even if your team sucks a good goalie keeps shitty teams in games lol

  24. I'm just glad to see the dumpster fire from the outside for once, as a Canucks supporter. Are there any marshmallows available?
