Frustrating game. Refs absolutely fucking sucked, the puck luck wasn’t there, and we didn’t put away some really good chances, but overall I thought we played better and really should’ve won.
Sat two rows behind our net, difference in the game was goaltending. Refs didn’t help either.
Not one to usually complain about the reffing in these postgames, but Jesus were they were brutal today. Absolutely killed any momentum we kept trying to build. Guess they forgot Game Management is a thing.

If anyone is short on funds, betting on the home team when Carter Sandlak is officiating will win 80% of the time so far, which is way better than any model.
Edit: I misinterpreted—the actual record is 32-7-3, so a 76% win rate and an 80% points percentage for the home team.
Frustrating game but I can’t be too mad at how the team played, things just didn’t go our way.

I’m in shock they didn’t call that Mackinnon dive or the Rantaanen hold. Not to mention De Haan getting tripped in exactly the same fashion or Paul and Eyssimont both getting tripped for no calls. We weren’t gonna win anyways but the fact that those calls changed the game really pisses me off.

How to beat Tampa:
Get a lead going into the third period thanks to some bullshit calls and a few overturned goals. Wait until the refs completely swallow their whistles, and then just mug the shit out of Kucherov for the entire last 10 minutes of the game.
Ice was dogshit, refs were dogshit, Georgiev was a pain in the ass the whole night… just not our night I guess but on to the next one
Gotta figure out something with the bottom 6. 2nd and 3rd lines are a blender while the 4th line has brought absolutely nothing all year.
