    I feel bad for the next guy who GM's The Senators this game should be DJ Smiths last game as coach I don't care if the players like him his team isn't producing results which on paper this team should be playoff bound by now.

    What a joke! Not one 5-minute major but ref's handing out 10-minute misconducts like candy on a Halloween. If this ref had had to call a game in the 70s he'd have had a heart attack during his first game 🙄

    Good call. I hope it’s a deterrent against kicking at other players and fighting. Fighting might have been a part of hockey culture, but it’s not a part of the actual game of hockey. It’s a game, it’s not a real battle, it’s a game. There are kids watching. They deserve better examples from professionals.

    Tkachuk kicking the goalie to try to kick the puck into the net and then hitting at him after he skated by was BS. It’s a dirty move but it’s also not allowed for goalie interference nor do kicked in pucks count as goals. Kulikov kicking his skate at Tkachuk is utter BS. It’s been a month since Adam Johnson died. Thankfully no one was cut here.

    Brannstrom looked like the only one just holding not fighting. Anyone just covering their head in defense or holding shouldn’t get the same as the aggressors in fights because they’re either just trying to defend themselves or stop someone else from getting pummeled, but I get it in situations like this with too much going on. The guy who raced off the bench to join in probably deserves another minor since he wasn’t even there.

    They were good calls. Especially after they kept hitting each other and the refs. That’s being an ————- not a hockey player. I like how the announcer or commentators here put it about getting back to the actual hockey game.

    Brady Tkachuk started this whole thing by running into Bobravsky with his EXTENDED right skate. There's your goalie interference.
    Or as the announcer was saying he "bumps into" Bobrovsky on his way by. Must be the Ottawa broadcast.
