@Wild du Minnesota

Guerin savait qu’il voulait Hynes à long terme, donc pas besoin d’intérim.

I’m having a hell of a time today. I love Minnesota sports and all the great things that come with it.

welp that’s a headscratcher. hopefully this guy is better with junior talent than his reputation reflects

Guerin must be working the long con for someone else, because this is fucking stupid

This is Guerin’s defining moment. If Hynes doesn’t get the job done I don’t know how Guerin isn’t the next one to go. He really has tanked his value in just a few short months and actually picked Hynes for his last stand…

Billy, You were the chosen one! It was said that you would destroy the country club atmosphere, not join them! Bring balance to the team, not leave it in darkness!….. You were my General Manager, Billy. I loved you.

    fucking. how?

The 25-26 season could be a major turning point in identity and style of the team so why would you lock yourself to an average guy which every fan tells me is known for killing talent and play boring, which is kinda what we already had but worse?

I’ll use this post as a place to apologize to a lot of disgruntled fans. My friend and I decided to support the Wild while watching the Stanley Cup last year, and we didn’t have a team yet. We were debating between the Wild and Coyotes, due to us living in Kansas and not having a direct relation to any team. During the debate at a campus bar, fate would have it that a stranger walks into the building wearing a Minnesota Wild shirt; we believed this to be a promising sign from the universe to send our supporting talents up north, but it seems to be a curse now. After 22 years of my love not watching hockey, to suddenly growing a genuine interest and finding a team to cheer for, the Wild have seemed to catch some sort of hex upon their players, coaches, and GM, and I can’t help but think it’s my fault. My deepest apologies, diehard Wild fans

Oh son of a bitch, Guerin actually wanted Hynes!? If he just felt like Hynes was the best option available at the moment it would be slightly more acceptable, but he looked at all the coaches out there and said, “That’s my guy!”

Sorry to say, but Guerin isn’t the GM we all thought he was…

    What else would he say?

« Hynes is a short term head coach » or « I an still looking for a better coach »?

And no this is NOT a defining moment for GMBG.

More dump and chase for the wild! Hasn’t changed for 20+ years lol why stop? ///////s

Hynes is supposed to be a “young guys” player’s coach but if it’s anything like it was in NSH he’ll fall all over guys like Duhaime and Dewar and fail skill guys like Rossi.

He literally fell for a random AHLer Cole Smith and opted to play him every night, and waived Eeli Tolvanen.

Any actual success he had in NSH was games where they’d play like a mess but Saros would make 45 saves and bail them out. Systems a mess, lines a mess. I really hope he changes and it goes well. -Preds fan

bill was actually working for the penguins this whole time.

There is absolutely no fucking reason to just hand Hynes the job long term. He has no track record of success in winning games or developing prospects. He just got fired by a mediocre franchise and didn’t get a HC job this off season when several teams made new hires. He’s not a hot commodity.

  14. Im done with this team, ill check back in after they fire Guerin

  15. blackbusa24

Ah… Just thinking about all those down votes I got for basically saying he’s starting his own country club and he’s not as good as everybody saying he is….

  16. I’m confused by all the hate he is getting. Yeah he’s not a god tier coach, but he seems like he’s been fine. I don’t think I was expecting Rod Brind’Amour. Yeah Hynes isn’t flashy but he isn’t terrible. Am I missing something?

  17. Well that’s depressing. A 50-50 coach when Dean was better. I’m having thoughts that the call is still coming from inside the house …
