  1. Detroit badly needed a veteran player on the team, feels like the old days when we got Hull, robitaille, and hasek except there is a cap space this time lol

  2. Not sure how I feel about this as a Wings fan. His age and performance/mobility coming out of recovery being the biggest concerns. I'm sure Yzerman did his due diligence but we shall see. Never liked Kane with some questionable off the ice stuff. Never the less hope he's a good fit and stays healthy.

  3. Ignore the trolls saying "He's washed". This is a good addition by Stevie. Kane connection with Debrincat is undeniable. Say what you want but This signing definitely in some capacity solidified their playoff chances.

  4. If he puts up 45-50pts this season AND we make the playoffs AND make a run, it will be worth it. Still pretty sweet. When is he even ready to play?

  5. Low risk. Expectations are minimal. Hope he can add to the power play. If the Wings are out of a playoff spot, Kane can easily be traded for a pick. Happy with signing.

  6. Kane had 92 points in 78 games in the 21-22 season, yet people calling him washed up after 1 down year when he was injured.

  7. Just to say that a player I've always respected and a fan of is on my team Steve yzerman is making a playoff push man im excited to see what we can do welcome to Detroit Patrick Kane l truly hope he gets come back player of the year

  8. As a blackhawk fan i can't believe he went to redwings. I understand like CAT went there after few seasons at blackhawks but kane after so many seasons at hawks that's sucks. Wish him well tho.

  9. People talking crap about this don’t understand even if he doesn’t pan out it’s only for rest of the season not like he’s gonna be on the books for multiple seasons and we still have players that can fill his spot if he doesn’t pan out
