I'll bet $100 for the Oilers to win the cup..heavy underdogs right now=big $money! lock in while the odd's are low for a good payout in the event they turn things around and go on another run. Still 65 games left! anything can happen, trades, momentum swings, luck, etc Its a long season, don't count them out. Oilers had a similar shitty start to the 89-90 season and ended up winning it all!
The Oilers need to play at 65 Point% the rest of the year if they want a chance of getting a wildcard spot. With a rookie head coach it is nearly impossible. I figure the team will collapse if they fall too far behind as the players get too frustrated.
The Oilers are done not because they don’t have the talent, or the coaching, etc. it is because they have no confidence they can get there. The playoffs are not an option for the Oilers this year.

The Oilers are done especially with the improved Canucks, Kings and Jets … the defense is shot ~ the goaltending thin…. and nobody can reach the team to institute corrections in defense. ZERO accountability.

Toronto and Carolina have a better chance at the cup than the Rangers? I know shesterkin hasn't been that great but the rangers absolutely demolish Toronto I the playoffs. Like 4-0 sweep 4+ goals per game. What with all the toronto nut hugging? I'd rather it if they were buttering up the habs or something instead of constantly stroking off Toronto ffs.
