https://x.com/AmerksHockey/status/1729892003113042035?s=20 Passer de l’entraînement au Harborcenter à Paul Louis où il y a environ 18 pouces de chute entre la passerelle et la glace.
I hate that drop with a passion, and that rink and it’s management ever since the legendary Al V retired.
Al V was the much heralded McQuaid head coach for 3 decades, and manager of what was once called SIR.
Now it’s in disrepair and run down even worse.
Wish there wasn’t a lawsuit ongoing there so things could get done, but here we are…

I didn’t realize the Amerks were still practicing at Paul Louis but I did see that the USHL is at the Iceplex this week. Any word on when they can get back on their regular ice?

Why the hell do they practice there? It’s not even a full length rink.

The ice isn’t horrible there but that rink is something else. Why practice there? Is it only because it’s close to the arena?
I hope UPL and Comrie play so great that Levi doesn’t have to be called up. Which means sabres W’s and Levi getting a solid season under his belt. Goalies need time.

Still better than the steps at Nichols School.

Trans Siberian orchestra is at blue cross tomorrow so the ice isnt down and they cant practice there.

They could invest in some technology to fix this. Prehistoric cultures had something called a « ramp » to address just this problem. (Some people call it an « inclined plane » instead.)

I was coming in thinking it was a shitpost about his demotion but pleasently surprised it’s a shitpost about getting onto the ice.

Look what they deal with at [Lynah Rink] (https://www.cornell.edu/video/lynah-rink-tour/s337) at Cornell to go from the locker room to the ice. He played college hockey, I think he’ll be fine.
