Capspace doesn’t win games. Players win games. See San Jose.
If trading Beauvillier allows them to sign Ethan Bear, it's a win. If it allows them to trade for an even better top four defenseman, it is even better.
He goes from 27% to 12% shooting percentage. Make a deal with Calgary for Zadorov. Kuzy needs a wake-up call.
21:26 He WAS a hardworking kid. And I'm sure he can be again. I just think that right now he's a bit too comfortable and needs to be pulled out of that feeling.
23:09 Salo's shot was so heavy that he even hurt himself on a shot once.
Bet alot of GMs this year wished last year they had picked up the phone on Boeser
I’d be tempted to sell high on Boeser.
His history is play/production that is up and down. Can the Canucks actually afford him in a year and a half as he gets into his late 20s?
Imagine moving him and getting something really meaningful back, a (missing?) piece that every serious cup contender needs. They’ve freed up some cap space with the Beauvillier trade, and figure to be add D. I think they need to eventually add more D and maybe the money for that comes from a Boeser move.
I know of another player not fleet of foot, but deadly, who could inherit Boeser's mantle. Aidan McDonough. The whole idea of being a good organisation is that you can feed in successors. And, of course, Lekkerimäki.
totally agree with fine meaning the f word! very funny!
has far as the mannequins go…..Tyler Myers may as well be one
Hughes plays so much and double shifts why do you need sixth dmen? mcward hirose julssen are all fine for 10-15 minutes and quinn sucking up 30 mins. do not waste your money/cap on bear he is nothing special.
I love those European changes on penalties. Springing penalized players with a short handed goal, like a jail break, would make hockey fans go mental when it happens to their team. So definitely do it.
I remember when Salo would shoot and everyone would duck. He got more accurate over time or his teammates would have all gotten PTSD from those blasts from the point.
Brock had a few rough years, but mostly they were caused by bad team building and bad offseason habits. Snipers like Boeser, Geoff Courtnall, and Hull like to lie in the weeds to score, and aren't generally known for their 200 foot games. If you have a badly built team, with terrible defence and bad depth, anyone with defensive deficiencies shows up like a lighthouse. What helps make Brock thrive is improving the defence, goaltending, and depth forwards.
