I've watched a lot of Red Wings hockey, both boom and bust, but when you have Mickey Redmond singing the praises of Patrick Kane while PK wore a Blackhawks sweater, you know this is an exciting thing. This isn't a direct quote, but it went something like , "Kane puts butts in the seats and at any time during a game can bring them all out of their seats. He's a superstar in this league." I hope, for his benefit, he's healthy and has a lot more hockey left in him.
