Why fire him When the players take stupid penalties and are in the box for half the game how do you expect to win. And if you got rid of the head coach, why don’t you get rid of the other coaches are they as well as to blame? Darcy has been with the team through two head coach changes don’t you think maybe he’s the problem?
Good riddance. He should've been gone after the condensed covid season. His goalie management that season was horrible. Talbot plays the first game of a b2b against the avs and gets lit up, Kahkonen plays the 2nd game and gets lit up, then with the brutal schedule they had because of their covid outbreak he gives Kahkonen one start in the last month and a week of the season, and Talbot got the rest. He overplayed the almost mid 30's Talbot and killed the confidence of a good goalie prospect in Kahkonen who was never the same goalie after that. I'd still put more of the blame on Gurien though, that Addison trade was a bad trade that clearly really hurt the team

Not afraid to play young players? Come on Billy, no need to lie. How does he explain putting Rossi on a line with Foligno and Freddy to start the season? Rossi was also in Dean's doghouse last year before getting sent down to Iowa. And we all know Dean and Billy did not like Fiala. A good coach does not get out coached in the first round of the playoffs for 3 consecutive years.
