Can honestly say this game was the first time I've seen a player high stick themselves in the face with another players stick. But god damn was it kind of hilarious. Not sure why they didnt show it here.
Finally some bad reffing favoring the Rangers… For the past year or so this team gets fked by reviews more than the rest of the league COMBINED! Good to get it confirmed that its just sheer incompetence instead of majoe toronto office corruption. Rangers played better and deserved the W anyways (even tho it was clearly high stick)

Good game! 2 very strong teams. Rangers a bit better. They may have the best goalie in the league. Both teams with good looks. Penalty kill was crucial.
Reffing was brutal. 2 missed 5 minute boarding calls, missed highstick on Raymond, 3 goal was above the crossbar. 🤦🏻
I'm not sure why the Wings didn't challenge that 3rd goal. Above the crossbar is a no goal. Despite the missed call, they're a damn good team, though

Something I’m noticing a lot more is how scary lafreniere has been looking this year. He’s still not a star but at 22 years old he’s still young enough that within a season or two he could be dangerous. I thought he’d just max out as a top 6 guy but nah he makes some crazy plays sometimes
