They're softer than butter hit no one and have no heavy players!
few things for sure, but i think Haggs is right, the goal tending has been much more average lately, bruins aren't the beast of the east anymore even when the record was 14-1-3, if you watch the games you will see they many streches where they get outplayed, the panthers game they won 3-1, but the first 12 mins could of been 3-0 panthers instead we get amazing goal tending, we wake up and win that game,
rangers, canes,vegas,avs, dallas with average goal tending we don't stand a chance, talent wise we aren't in the top 10, need everyone to buy in, and our tenders to be the best
They've strayed from their defensive form as we saw in their last few games. The Blue Jackets sprung behind the B's way too many times. With no protection on the roster, it's open season on the stars. They need someone or a couple of players on the bench to hop over the boards to let the other team know they're going to get hit and if needed scrap. Like A. J. Greer did last year. We don't have to wait for the amped intensity of the playoffs to see the Bruins get knocked around like Tampa and the Blues did a few years ago. The Rangers and Columbus both did against Boston and the Bruins didn't or couldn't respond. Win or lose, show some life and commitment to the night's task.
They have the anecdote for a losing streak tonight, the hapless San Jose Sharks. That should help with their confidence because the Bs have none right now. Then they're on the road agaynst the Leafs, that'll be the next test. Another commenter mentioned how soft they are. The Bruins were outhit by the Rangers 19-13 and by Columbus 17-12. They're not skilled enough to get away with that. Intimidation isn't the factor it was back in the day but they have nobody right now that the other team is concerned about.
No question, they play soft, easy pickens post season. Not a gritty team like Panthers…every player plays with a chip. If you can win games 6-5, I’ll live with it.
Zacha is the absolute best player in the NHL at almost scoring.
I think biggest thing is they’re defense is horrendous getting the puck up and out is horrible they need another pure scorer

The Bruins poblem is besides two good goalies and maybe 3 others they are a bunch of fourth liners.
