omg what is happening… PA is the man

  7. DinosaurMachine11

So we essentially turned Beauvillier, a 3rd and 5th into Lafferty and Zadorov this season? Unreal

Edit: as u/nihilism_ftw pointed out I missed the extra 5th for Lafferty. Still great!

  8. CrYztaLreddit

Wtf that’s all it took for Calgary to trade him to a division rival?

  9. bonergarage123

Can’t believe the flames would let him go to a divisional rival, at that price no less. Chef PA 🧑‍🍳 has been cooking recently…

  10. TomsNanny

Why would Calgary make this trade? It doesn’t make sense. Not complaining, but what?

  11. TheRajMahHal

EXCUSE ME AM I TRIPPING OR IS THAT DIRT CHEAP

  12. afterbirth_slime

Can he play tonight? We could really use him tonight.

  13. Spare_Entrance_9389

We are Canada’s team, now lets get McDavid for a 4th rounder please

  14. intelligentx5

Zaddy….baby….I’m sorry for all the things I’ve said. Welcome.

  15. CBennett_12

It’s honestly impressive how quickly Allvin turned around the dumpster fire that was the D core of the late Benning era into a pretty good one now

  16. CHEF ALVIN CONTINUES TO COOK, LET’S FUCKING GO!

  17. PaperweightCoaster

He actually did it. Not a fan of Z but I’m okay with the price.

  18. SvenofaBaertsch

Flames fans are pissed about this trade lol

  19. GabeLeRoy

As a habs fan.. I must say your GM is on fucking fire

  20. Basically Zaddy for Beau and a 3rd, freeing $450k in change

  21. TheRajMahHal

So our D when healthy would look like:
    Hughes Hronek
    Cole Zadorov
    Soucy Myers

HOLY FUCK COMPARE TO LAST YEAR

  22. mars_titties

It’s like Allvin came down to us from a higher league. Holy cow

  23. Overall-Bottle6213

Holy shit, I wasn’t big on zadorov because I assumed he’d fetch at least a second, but it seems since we have cap space we can get him for cheap. I guess Calgary really didn’t want to retain and other teams balked. I’m very happy with Zadorov as a 4/5 guy though. It was very important for us to add size and physicality to this team and this is the move that does that.

  24. NerdPunch

Wow, I wonder if theres still enough room to get something done with Ethan Bear still.

I would be comfortable going into the post season with this blue line.

    – Hughes/Hronek
    – Zadorov/Cole
    – Soucy/Myers
    – Bear

  25. vancouvercanucks98

A fucken lol at some flames fans asking for Hoglander for Zadorov 😂

  26. That seems…reasonable? This is a weird feeling as a canuck’s fan.

  27. blumper2647

Wait, we got Zadorov for what Benning would throw in as an extra in a trade?

  28. MemeMeOnce

Sponsored by our Assistant General Manager, Mr. Dan Milstein

  29. metrichustle

Do the Canucks have the biggest blueline in the league now?

    Myers – 6’8, 230 lbs

    Soucy – 6’5, 208 lbs

    Zadorov – 6’6, 248 lbs

Half the blue line is over 650 lbs lol

    Also [not a Putin supporter](https://www.tsn.ca/nikita-zadorov-explains-decision-to-speak-out-against-invasion-of-ukraine-1.2011220?tsn-amp):

    > The 28-year-old blueliner, who was born in Moscow and has represented Russia internationally in the past, is the only NHLer to publicly speak out against the country’s invasion of Ukraine. He initially posted a photo to Instagram with the phrase “No War” on Feb. 25, 2022, a day after Russian president Vladimir Putin ordered the full-scale invasion.

    >Zadorov didn’t speak to reporters about the issue until this week, after his wide-ranging interview with Russian journalist Yury Dud was published. In the two-hour conversation, he gave candid thoughts on the invasion.

    >”Instead of raising the new generation [of Russians], we sent them to die,” Zadorov told Dud.
