  1. Unless the laughs find a prime Roy they’ll get bounced real quick assuming they make the playoffs

  2. I always love your breakdowns, but I don't think the 3rd pair is as bad as you might believe. Sure, when you're comparing to McAvoy, Carlo, Lindholm, and the defensive history of this team, I see where the faults of the 3rd pair stick out like a sore thumb. But I think Forbort's strength on the PK is really valuable, and tho I honestly am more excited watching Mitchell's play in Shatty's spot, I like the veteran presence on the back end more than a blurry eyed rookie. Sorry for the paragraph. Love this team. GO BEEEEEEEES!

  3. I love how i feel like we've watched the same game every time. You see all the same subtleties that i notice and that drive me nuts. I can watch any other person and i dont always agree with what they say. You do an amazing job man. Keep it up

  4. I’m so glad you’re a bruins fan Low Qual. It would be a real shame if some other team got your talent and even more of a shame that I wouldn’t give you a single view for making these vids about some undeserving team.

  5. I'm glad we stopped the bleeding, but what can you really learn about this team from playing against the sharks? I need to see the Bruins improve against an NHL team before I can breathe a sigh of relief.

  6. This was very much a needed win for the B's. Win the games you're supposed to win. I don't even wanna know what would've happened if they lost this game.

Game Notes: I was mostly focusing on how the new lines played and how some of the underperformers would bounce back this game. You're making this difficult on me cause I'm gonna be basically saying everything you've already said lol but I'll try my best. The Marchand – Poitras – Heinen line was great. They slowly became an offensive powerhouse through the game, and everytime they were on the ice you felt like they had an amazing chance to score. Defensively they were fine as well, they had some small trouble at times trying to get it out of their zone but those moments never lasted a long time and when it did happen you didn't think it would lead to the Sharks scoring. Putting Debrusk on the Zacha line was also a very good move by Monty. Idk if Debrusk felt like it was his responsibility to try to play Poitras game over his own so that he could build chemistry with the rookie, but it's been very clear the last couple games he's gone back to playing moreso his own style of play, and being on a new line has examplified that a lot more. The Coyle and Beecher line also played well, but since they didn't change I wasn't as worried with focusing on them. The Lindholm – McAvoy change didn't stick all game, but I think that was moreso Monty not giving Gryz the trust in playing first pairing minutes until Gryz showed him that he had shaken off the rust which he certainly has. I also thought when Gryz was with Carlo they played great together as well, I wouldn't have been upset if those changed D-pairs stayed together for the whole game but I understand why that didn't happen. I thought Forbort and Shattenkirk had a good bounceback game as well from the previous 3 games, mind you that isn't saying much seeing with how much they were a liability in those past 3 games, and whilst they weren't amazing I wasn't worried they would crumble like they had in the previous 3. I genuinely do believe in that 3rd pairing to be better than what they've been this past week. Forbort had a genuine strong start to the season defensively, and I hope he's able to return to that as the next few games happen, plus he was solid in the PK which is his whole reason they still have him on the team. Shattenkirk I feel the same, that 3rd pairing has the possibility to be decent at least defensively, it's just on them to make it work. Sway had an easy night, but getting a shutout after being pulled so early last game is the confidence booster you wanna see.

Overall a great night for the B's, can't wait to see how these line changes work as the season goes on. Go B's? GO B'SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!
