I’m sorry but that big ass shield just ain’t it. Besides the striping on the sleeve, these jersey’s just lack personality.
They’ve grown on me since the leaks but those captain letters are basically attached to the crest
I want to see the full getup with pants/socks/gloves before deciding if I like these lol

Hmm. Shoulda made the shield crest a shoulder or arm patch, and keep the diagonal Rangers across the chest.
I find it a little fucking ridiculous that someone was able to find that jersey on some marketplace site lol. Hopefully they pop more on ice

The striping kinda ruins it for me. I like the navy look, but wayyy too many stripes.
I feel like they would be better if they had the diagonal “New York” lettering across the front instead of the giant shield.

For a third jersey it looks like a practice jersey.
It doesn’t have a heritage feel, it doesn’t have a retro 90s feel, it’s just… there. It’s like that Homework you do in school right before class begins because you forgot to it last night. It’s not your best work but you’ll try to spruce it up so it doesn’t look rushed but we all know it’s been rushed.
What sucks is that we have some fantastic designs to fall back on. Lady Liberty, Heritage, Winter Classic and Stadium Series designs that have all been fantastic. I’d kill to have those white stadium series jerseys back.
Shrink the logo first , I like the stripping . I want to see the whole combination on Ice , people didn’t like the liberty rr but it really popped on the ice .
