One of your CA writers noted he takes undisciplined penalties and has never played higher than 5D. As for the price… it was Chicago's 5th round pick, which will be higher than the Canucks'. We're being robbed! 😆 Whatever, the Canucks D will be tougher and with the way the team goes through defencemen like popcorn, they'll need as many Dmen as they can afford.

This guy is Erik Gudbranson without the knuckles, makes more mistakes than Myers, worst trade made by PA since Jason Dickinson for Riley Stillman. Brutal, I would rather have the 15 year old boy they were going draft in the 3rd in 2026, that's how much this guy sucks.

I assumed the price would've been steeper, considering it's a trade to a division rival, but there loss is the Canucks gain. The guy is a physical specimen, and he should fit right in for the Canucks. This allows the nucks to move guys down to their more natural positions. Juulson has been OK,but is he a full-time player…..not yet imo. Think about the size on the backend. Big z, Soucey, Cole, Myers. The team is ready to go to battle, and if they make the playoffs, the nucks have another player with some experience. Allvin pulled a rabbit out of the hat on this one. I'll bet the flame fans are not too pleased to lose Z for such a pitance and to a rival. Thanks CC

Myers UFA 33yo $6mill Zadorov UFA $3.75mill 28yo shows you the incompetence of the different regimes…. The amount of fixes the new Management has had to do/undue because of JB and Co has handcuffed us for so long that finally we are seeing signs of a new Horizon. Playoffs you need durable bodies. Find a way to perhaps bring in Bear who I like a lot, and if an Anthony Mantha from Washington is available for his salary do you compliment Joshua up front to alleviate our guys getting shoved around seeing we are relatively 'small' overall.
I mentioned to someone just today that Zadorov might be a "Tocchet guy" and boom he's a Canuck. Anyone can poop all over Myers all you want but just look at the size on the blueline now, and pretty much every cup winner has what? Size on the blue line. You need it for the marathon playoffs because it's a different brand of hockey.

I don't think Conroy was aiming to win the trade, I think he was well aware this is looking more and more like a rebuild even if they've seen some success. He wanted SOMETHING for the player that didn't want to be there anymore. I just hope Zed's reason for wanting out has more to do with the environment and not because he's a puss that doesn't want to be on a fringe team. (if anyone knows why he wanted out, feel free to educate me as I can't remember)
9:59 The beauty of Zed landing in Vancouver is, he'll have all-star coaching staff who can really steer him into better habits. I mean, even Myers has played better overall.
