1. kane is done. He will have little if any impact. Thats just a silly signing. Time for him to call it a career. He has nowhere to go but down

  2. Hmmm, given his age and probable usage along with possible further missed time I'm gonna randomly guess 50 points for '23-'24.

  3. caps fan here, after seeing our great nick backstrom walkaway,i hope the best for Kane, detroit is exciting already and maybe kane will be the first to overcome this surguery. plus i hated we trsded sprong away.

  4. As a Rangers fan I was excited to see Kane coming to the team last year, I’ve always liked the guy. But if I’m completely honest, the dude really didn’t perform well and didn’t contribute much once he came over.

Unfortunately, the only thing I saw was an aging player with almost no heart left in his game. Hopefully he does better in Detroit, but after his stint with the Rangers, I really wouldn’t expect much out of him.

    That’s my hot take. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Edit: then factor in his injury and the hurdle that will be… 😬

  5. as a die hard bruins fan, that slapshot buzzer beater might've been the greatest ever regular season OT goal. i honestly think so that building was ELECTRIC

  6. Rangers fan here and while yes its disappointing we only had one of the greatest players in the past 20 years for a few months and he couldn’t help us get past round 1, we really don’t need him rn. Panarin, Laffy, Krieder, and Vessey are all playing great rn so demoting one of them to have Kane , who let’s face it isn’t in his prime anymore, play another season seems a bit gimmicky

  7. Best part about this is he sounds very confident about the recovery. It’d still be pushing it to start Kane right away, but realistically give him a week or so. Can’t wait to finally see Patrick freaking Kane in action as a Red Wing. Even if he may not be the lights out showtime Kane from his Chicago days.

  8. As a rags fan I’m sad to see him go already but his journey in Detroit is going to be interesting
