Kane will make a big difference in Detroit's season and they will get a wild card playoff spot.
Florida, would have to move a player to fit Kane in the line up.
Richards from the Kings gets hooked on opiates recovering from a work related surgery then his employer end up screwing him from his contract.
Highly doubt Raymond gets taken off the top line with Larkin as he’s playing far to well. I think it’s more likely we see Kane added to the 2nd line with Compher and Debrincat.
Detroit is gonna be an even more improved team than it is now, soon as Kane suits up! Lalonde is gonna be coach of the year!!!! Stevie Y is a God Damn Genious!! Detroit this year is last year's Florida!
When Perry admitted his own fault that led to Hawk's terminating his contract, there was nothing that the Hawks had to worry about regarding being over reacting.
Debrincat
Compher
Kane
Dude Kane grew up in Detroit – I know he is from Buffalo but he played minor hockey for honey baked ham and lived in Detroit with Pat Verbeek's family. If you listen to his press conference he made it very clear – he wanted a hockey market – Debrincat is one of his best friends – and Yzerman is someone that all these guys idolize – and he closed him . I hope he has a lot of success .
Why would Kane consider Buffalo when you take into account they forbid Eichel having a surgery to save his career then he ends up winning a cup for Vegas, Kane just had a rare surgery as Eichel was forbidden from . Different surgeries yes but the same in the sense that they are rare and unproven, Buffalo seems to turn their players against them. Another big thing for Kane was how invested the wings organization from Yzerman and Lalonde to the medical and training staff were in learning everything about his procedure in depth and how they develop health programs to meet the needs of each individual player, its not one size fits all like many organizations, The Wings have been a head of the curve when it comes to players health and they start soon as your drafted
"For whatever reason that rumor is still persisting!"
… Probably because that particular organization has a history of lying and covering up sexual incidents.
Debrincat is back on 40 goal pace ( 12 in 22 games). Though he slowed down, I'm not sure he dipped below a 30 goal pace.
I doubt that he will end up playing with Kane on full strength. I think Kane will end up on the 3rd line unless he makes an unprecidented recovery from that type of surgery. On a 2nd line he would need a defensivly responsible center (Compher) because he never played defense even when he was healthy.
Biggest impact may be that he makes Detroit a more attractive destination for free agents. It started with Debrincat
