Jesus, CAR…Who was in net for that one (not that any of their goalies are shining so far this season)?
Or maybe it was a combo spanking where the relief goalie also fell apart.
I know AKIRA was in net for that NJ shocker. Shouldn’t have had him play just after facing 40+ shots the prior day.

Teams like the Canes take that to the extreme. I’m in the mind that I prefer shot quantity over quality, but there’s a happy middle ground there.

I wonder though, is goaltending getting noticeably worse? Or at least the division between skaters and goalies getting bigger. Cause I feel like there’s so many teams in this league who have genuine goaltending problems
