The Leafs are so frightened to run Marchand the whole game because they don’t want to take a penalty or whatever their excuse is, then they MIGHT lose the game. Yet they play that way, Marchand takes no punishment all game, skates fast and free around their zone because he’s taken no contact all game, and scores the game winner. The Leafs STILL lose. Their identity sucks, and they’re coached that way

Tough one to complain about they played well
Woll gave them a fighting chance tonight ,, he’s a solid back up tender ,,,,, Samsanov needs to be gone same as reaves ,, marner ,, this is a huge opportunity to cut the fat and rebuild the back end ,, if marner will waive his no movement
Woll is a good goalie he did well lots to be proud of ,, he’s green as fuck though they need to off load reaves asap he’s Garbo and I’d shop marner to rebuild the back end
I'm honestly not that disappointed this time. I knew they couldn't beat the Bruins. I was already impressed enough and hoping out of my seat when they managed to tie it against them at the last second and steal a point

Great homestand for the boys 5 of 6 points collected and even though they didn't win loved the way they played against s top team was my favorite game of the 3 at home.
Both teams played great. To bad a mistake on the Leafs part, ended it.

Matthews was the Top G tonight. Willy with a mistake with 30 seconds left. The puck should of been sent in deep. Also no back check to pick up a forward by JT and Willy. Morgan chasing pasta behind the net made no sense, on 3 on 3 cover the front of the net.
