If Pittsburgh could do like they just did with the goalie pulled during the power play Pittsburgh would be hard to stop
There PowerPlay has been bad since last year. This is insanity!!!!
I've played hockey all my life. Love the game. I have NEVER seen a worse PP in my life!! There are NO WORDS!!🤮
lmfao the PP sucks and of course you act like it's all on Geno. this podcast are seriously Malkin haters. How about you fire Todd?
Literally if we had any level of threat on the powerplay, we would be a hard team to compete against. It seems like the only big issue with this team.
Here's how bad the Pens PP is:
1) After tonight's game, they are 7 for 64 on the year. (11%). Wait, it gets better.
2) The Pens have also allowed 4 SHG's. Wait, it gets better.
3) That means in 64 one-man (or better) advantage, opportunities, the Pens are plus THREE. Wait, it gets better.
4) I listened to the Flyers broadcast tonight on ESPN +. Their announcers, while flabbergasted at the disaster that is the Pens PP, also said (and this has been repeated by others as well), that the Pens PP is * EASY * to play against because they're, one, shooting from the top (easy to block and or see), two, they're hoping for a tip or rebound (which isn't coming) and ONLY if they get a pass from the person at the net across the crease, do they have a better opportunity.
It is BEYOND time to fire Rierden, OR re-assign the PP to other people. (At this point I'd let the players design how they want to play it)
Do you think there’s any communication happening on the PP? Everyone just seems stagnant to me.. 0/5 is crazy for the talent on this team
The Dragon is having a great season! Get doc back with the 3rd line, I have liked his game, but I really think when the pens were looking semi consistent it was when it was Doc-eller-Z.
Get Malkin off the PP
