Since I’m an STM in the fan zone I imagine I won’t be getting this lol.

Remember that PDF of all the suggestions back in the spring included lots of examples of these and where they might go. What’s wild is they proposed making the seats in the sideline 100s wider, reduce the number of section stairwells and actually add to the total number of seats there.

I just hope they don’t knock out my corner of the 300s for putting in a bar or something. I love my perch in the second row too much.

The survey questions were certainly interesting with the implications for where theyre going to expand bars and food, but a little generic. Curious if they’ll send out followups.

sounds to me like I better get to all the canes games I can now before I can’t afford it anymore

  4. Honestly I mostly want them to improve sight lines

The seat pitch downstairs is far too shallow and could also be improved upstairs

Additionally there are way too many seats that have railings and barriers in the way, especially upstairs. I’ve been to plenty of arenas that do not have this issue

Kind of don’t think anything like this will happen though given it would require major structural changes to the bowl

EDIT: Appreciate the downvote from whomever has a problem with me expressing my opinion. I’ve had numerous issues with obstructions from various seats in the arena, and I’m not exactly short. There are even seats in 317 where a camera nest directly covers the near-side goal – I know because I’ve sat there.

I’ve seen « there’s not a bad seat at PNC Arena » repeated over and over again on this sub, and it’s false. I’m not saying most of the seats are terrible, but there are definitely plenty of areas in the arena where you’re going to have either an annoying time seeing around an obstruction, or you’ll have your view blocked if people decide to get up and walk around (not talking about just the person in front of you).

“Would you be willing to pay a premium for shoot twice end seating ?” I mean, I already do.

What annoys me about this survey, is I don’t give a shit about premium club options. I just want to not have to pay an arm and a leg to go to a game. I don’t want to pay $30 for a hot dog and a beer. Don’t take away the tailgating either .

Also! Stop sucking the fun out of things by banning noisemakers and flags that have been a thing since day one.

  7. I can see it now STMs are just going to get completely fucked over from this. They’ll re-do the layout of the bowl and everyone who’s been in the same seats for years or decades is going to get pushed back and still probably end up paying more. All while the premium corporate types get the new low seats, thus destroying our atmosphere completely in the process.

This renovation sounds awesome on the surface, but I’m scared about what it’s going to do to the game day experience for the average fan and those of us who have been supporting the team for years.
