  1. Always liked Green, he was at the bottom of his bag of tricks at the end of his tenure, but his systems and matching and heavy play really helped our stars develop and made the best out of the roster he had during the majority of time here.

Always felt we were a little too quick on the « Green was the problem » blame when he left, and now with what happened to Bruce I think he can feel at least a little bit vindicated on his tenure here. Hope he gets some good experience with NJD and gets another gig somewhere running a bench.

Green was a poor coach and an annoying personality. Glad he’s NJD’s problem now.

It’s funny how much the perception around Green changed. The team was bad, so naturally the coach will take heat…

But you used to have a lot of mouth breathers just parroting “dump and chase” like that’s an NHL system.

Pictures with Quin and his brothers freak me out

I’d love to see Green get another HC gig with a good roster, mostly because I have no idea if he’s a good NHL coach or not based on tenure with the Canucks.

Look at those hooligans wearing sports jerseys and flashing gang signs.

My only thing I wish is that he was more forthcoming with the media. Look at the difference between him and Tocchet and how they’re perceived because of the latter’s willingness to discuss systems and problems frankly. It helps they’re playing well, but Green’s interviews always felt like he didn’t want to be there.
