Red plume looks like the Senators logo but I think it’s a very interesting concept
Technically it is supposed to be a profile of Chief Blackhawk, but your rendition is way less commercial.

honestly i try to avoid debates on this topic for a multitude of reasons
but let’s be honest, if they changed it to look like this, people would still be angry about it. you’re not going to make them happy unless it’s a wholesale change

I thought the team wasn’t even named after a person, like, the team was named for the military unit the founder had been a part of which is named after Black Hawk?
i really dont hate this at all. not enough to say yes let’s change it, but i do like it. would like to see the red feather not left out and also the feather lines incorporated as it’s part of why the blackhawks is so special in that it uses 7 colors. which is i believe the most colors in a primary logo in any sport. really good work man.

I have a sentimental attachment to the logo as is but I suppose it would be more respectful and maybe take some wind out of the triggered folks’ sails (although not likely since these people are usually uneducated, either on the matter or in general)
