Hell yeah Fuck yeah!
I know a lot people were expecting Foerster to light it up offensively this year (which I always thought was too much based on just an 8 game sample and good not great AHL production last year).
But I actually have even higher hopes for him now than I did before this season. I had no idea his 2 way play was this ridiculously good. I remember him being compared to Stone at the draft but hadnt heard much about his defense being this good since.
Foerster was already having a really positive impact on the ice before scoring. Similar to Cates last year. But he actually has high end offensively ability and potential.
If he develops the offensive game many think he could be like Lindblom pre cancer if not better. Ridiculously good at everything non scoring while also being 25+ goal guy. A super valuable top 6 guy to have.
He’ll be an interesting player to keep an eye on rest of the year. If his offense starts to come he could really become something going forward.

Tyson has been elite defensively. His offensive game will round out nicely when he finds that PP hashmarks spot.
He’s been on a roll. Great to see him succeed, for some reason he’s always been sort of a “no expectations at all” sort of prospect for me. He’s playing great right now.
Hopefully his handful of deflection goals aren’t a fluke because we may have the next JVR or Pavelski on our hands. Absolutely deft at the deflection game.
