You dont have to go TO the net. Thats the pucks job. You just gotta create unpredictability around the net. The fibonacci plays of 2016 they just gave up on and I will never understand why. You need someone with the puck to grind low first though. Everyone standing at their points and just one guy or 2 moving during the PP is not how you win. It should look like a watch's gears from birdseye view

Puustinen? lol Yeah, that was stupid. Might as well stick with Guentzel from purely a size perspective and what do you do with Puustinen when there isn't a power play? Who do you sit for a 5 on 5 liability like him. What they should have done and should still do is put Zohorna in and keep him in there for a few games before deciding to go back to the same old or not. They make these moves like what they did with Malkin on the 2nd unit and don't even give it time to breath before they pull the plug. It's irritating things like this that Sullivan does that makes me so indifferent to his continued coaching of this team and thinking another coach with fresh eyes and no investment in players sensitivities could make this team better.

While I do believe they need to make a trade for someone who can go to net, for now I believe you can put Carter in front of the net. You don’t necessarily need him to score in that situation, you just need him to screen the goalie so he can’t see the shots coming.
