This was just embarrassing. Not sure why they're looking sloppy lately. Tired from such a compact schedule over the past couple weeks?
A defensive disaster.
Defense hasn’t been great lately.
We may need to look at bringing in a top 4 d man. Slide Lindgren down to play with Schneider and get someone to play with fox. Fox and Lindgren don’t look right together this year and the d as a whole looks really bad. We’ve won a lot of games we shouldn’t have solely off of offense. And Benny needs to get Igor back on his shit. Last few starts haven’t been good enough.

I am fine with a little mediocrity that forces this team to fix it's issues. Sometimes winning, keeps you from plugging up some of the holes. They need to get hit in the mouth a few times to learn how to duck and dodge. To start the season the defensive structure that NYR had was great. They didn't give up much. Over the last month, they've lost that a bit and just outscored their mistakes. .
The gummy bear style creeps in yet again. You can change all the coaches you want however, this team has a Jekyll and Hyde personality. It’s been like that since Quinn. Zee sat there and watched two shots on his goaltender before he put his stick or body in between the goaltender and the player It’s that softness that will allow teams that want it to win against this team and hopefully this coach beats it out of them because if we come up with efforts like that in the playoffs, we will go home in the first round yet again.. It’s something we’ve gotten away with against inferior teams it’s not like they have not played a lot of games. This way they have found ways to win them. They did not do that exposes how ugly the soft side really is. Hence why I refer to it as the gummy bear Rangers. You cannot blame Igor could he play better? Yes, could he play worse yes, would any team take him on their roster as a starting goaltender yes, the decisions being made in front of him are just awful.

Worst I've seen them look all season. Can't win em all. Team has bounced back before and they can do it again
