I like Jacques but he is lying(politics of course) when he says he watched the last three games and been impressed. Since they been talking for some time that means he probably watched all 20 games. So tell us Jacques are you impressed with DJ changing his lines game after game and us being last in the conference? Is that impressive to you Jacques?
Jacques needs to be an interim head coach period. But of course clueless Andlauer and especially Staios dont see that. I would actually not be surprised that this joker Staios extends DJ's contract saying he needs more time. I see it coming.

Staios and Andlauer keep repeating that they want to make sure to do things right, well you haven't !! You had plenty of time since you knew you had the team bought. We are freaken last in the conference, how is that a sign that you made sure things were done right?? This team should have been a playoff team three years ago. LA and the Rangers started their rebuilt when we did and look at them now. LA 15-4-3, Rangers 18-5-1 Why ?? Because they had great coaching, not because their players are better than ours but because they had better coaching. Say what you want Staios but it all starts with the head coach. I can't wait to see your eyes popping out of your head once you realize that we will not make the playoffs and has long as DJ is the head coach we won't.
Congratulations for this very smart move ! Mr Martin is a wise and relaxed knowledgeable hockey leader. Excellent decision.

if anyone wants french translation: he is stoked to be in ottawa. core is promising and it was easy for him to join,. he wants to build the team and build with the group. he doesnt beleive he need to change things but just advise. hes happy to be in a staff thats progressive. hes got no relation with DJ but respects him (interview talk)

Have a lot of confidence in Andlauer and Staios – and bringing in JM as a senior advisor is a great movie. You get a change, you send a message but you also don’t alienate the players with their relationship with DJ – it’s very wise at this stage
