I remember watching this series and couldn't believe how dirty Boston played. They did not deserve to win that year

  2. I remember that series like it was yesterday and the aftermath. The games itself are why I love hockey so much more than any other sport; it was a war for each of those 7 games. You don't really see that in any other sport.

  3. This series was a reminder that when everything is on the line, and games can turn on a single call.. getting 20 or 30 questionable calls at home in your favor can help you win the Cup.

  4. That video was an epic Synopsis of how crazy that year was for hockey playoffs. We got spoiled with that kind of NHL. It's changed in a short decade

  5. love playoff videos like this hope we can see more like it from this channel

  6. Omg Marchand just punching hin in the face and him just standing there has got to be the funniest thing I've seen today

  7. After the speech in the 1-0 game, Bettman made damn sure that Boston walked away with as few penalties needed to win. One of the dirtiest teams yet rarely got called. It would have not gone the same way for the nucks, guaranteed.

  8. YAY time travel videos instead of covering ANYTHING to do with the Calgary Flames

Maybe you could cover how much Bryclream Rocket Richard used in his hair

    Just being salty ya BASTAAD

  9. Same happens to the Canadiens that year. Boston just couldnt get a penalty whilst the Habs fell like flies. Worse, Montreal would take the penalties. Anything to keep the cup out of Canada where the market is saturated lmao

  10. watching this makes me realize why the leafs dont go far in the playoffs, everyone on the team needs to play tough to win and we have a team full of babies

  11. The question is…why didn't the powerplays come? Still to this day, sure the Rome hit was late but with Hamhuis and Raymond out as well, the real factor was that the games started to get called differently. We all saw it and felt it.

  12. Sedins were skilled but they were too soft for the playoffs. Kings did the same thing to them the following year

  13. LOL this is pathetically stupid. How can teams "hate" each other when there are always new players every year. The "hate" that was there was from decades ago when people were even more stupid.

  14. Yes yes yes … we know how refs never call penalties against the Boston Goons when it counts. If the refs had done their job the rat and the rest of the rodents never would have won.

  15. That Stanley Cup Finals in 2011 was the best series ever, it had everything. And I’m not just saying that bc I’m a diehard Bruins fan, but that helps lol.

  16. "Wasn't reflective of the Canucks fanbase." Yeah, nah. A little reflective, if we're being honest with ourselves.

  17. I want to watch this video but I don’t know if I can handle the pain again. Absolutely agonizing.

  18. You just brought back all the anxiety of an 11 year old kid seeing his favourite team lose in the finals for the first time. Great video

  19. God bless all those open minded liberals in Vancouver and the rest of that West coast. Get what you ask for.
