  1. I dont cheer for the wings ya tool. im just saying that the sens are brutal. in fact i cheer for the canucks, and the blackhawks you utterly useless fucking tool.

  2. Calm down there, princess. All teams go through tough times, and hopefully the tough times in Ottawa are done as of this coming season. I just hope you can respect any franchise for the good things they have done through their respective histories, rather than lumping it into being a "brutal" existence throughout. Just a thought.

  3. youre right. the sens arent bad, but just had some brutal times recently. the busted 15-2-0 start in 07-08 is probably the biggest one ever. same as the jets. they were consistent contenders but always had to go through the Oiler or flames to get to the cup finals so, i get what your saying. but in part to my name, i use it because i do believe there is a shot of the jets coming back one day. i just that if they do, they are better than they were before

  4. Too bad they didn't have too many bright spots after this during that first season. Then again, I guess that's the way it went for a lot of expansion teams.

  5. yeah, okay, buddy. It takes a lot of pride to want a team back that eternally struggled throughout its existance. You're probably just some bandwagon jumping idiot who hops on board every time a team makes a run to the finals. I have all rights to be a jets fan, and to want them back. Just because you really don't care, doesn't mean that i don't bare

  6. @oakster15 There could be one exception. In 1967 the league doubled in size, ending the Original Six era. All of the expansion teams were placed in one division, while the other six were in a seperate division. It explains why the St. Louis Blues made the finals during their first three seasons in the league.

  7. I have cheered for several teams. Never ever cheered for one for more than 2 years, because all i want is for the jets to come back. the day they come back, im gonna go to the first game in red white and blue.

  8. Norm Maciver, assisting on the first goal in Sens history, also scored the last goal for the Jets (until next yr… mwhahaha)

  9. You can't even hear Bob Cole over the crowd, and the Civic Centre has only half the seats of Scotiabank Place

  10. Did the Civic Centre announcer say "Dale Brady???" As if on the first goal the new Senators score the announcer messes up. Sums up the first couple of years of the new franchise perfectly (*shakes fist at Alexandre Daigle hockey card*)

  11. I used to think that the 1992-93 Habs started with this Ottawa disaster and ended with Cup glory, but turns out this was Montreal's 2nd game of the season, not 1st. (Their season opener was a 5-1 win at Hartford).

  12. 0:15 the players look like theyre just shitting around…And at 0:18 the Brady could've just scored a rap around if he wanted to..Any player in the NHL right now would instantly be a superstar if they played back then

  13. Neil Brady scored both the first pre-season and first regular season goals in modern Senators history.

  14. I have this game on DVD, converted from VHS. What a great debut for the NHL and the Senators.

  15. When Ottawa Senators became a team and played the first game I was 13 years old now I am 39 years old

  16. It's odd that, despite being by far the closest team to Montreal and being in the same division for 30 years, there is almost no rivalry with the Senators. The Nordiques were twice as far away and only in the NHL for 16 years, but it was always a super intense rivalry with the Canadiens. People will drive 5 hours to watch Montreal play in Boston but won't bother to drive 2 hours to see them play Ottawa.

  17. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:15)
And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. (Revelation14:9-11)
