I’m tired grandpa
No fuckin luck tonight
Somebody needs to learn how to finish. Just ridiculous.
1 shot in the 3rd period still under .900
37 shots on goal and 1 goal. Atrocious.
Something has to change now.
time to eat a whole tub of ice cream and cry
At the beginning of the franchise, I bought 7 bottles of Westland Kraken whiskey. One remains unopened until a Stanley Cup win. One remained unopened until we made the playoffs.
The rest are to be a drink per win (as I watch them). I was thinking they’d be about a bottle a season, lasting for the first 5 seasons. But now I kind of just want to drink them all to get through this season.
Ah getting goalied, reminds me of October. We were so young and full of hope.
Maybe the Kraken should stop shooting at the goalies center of mass?
Maybe we’ll never win again, surely that would at least set some kind a record
I’m tired of hearing the post. 🙁
Give credit- they played a full 60 minutes tonight. Unfortunately they made a couple mistakes that burned them and had awful puck luck.
On the upside I thought Evans played well.
… Fuck!… Goodnight everyone…
time to give the kids meaningful minutes Hak
Better effort in the 3rd period for a change.
We’re bottom of the league bad, And it stings after last year.
Sometimes you face a goalie who saves 37/38 shots.
Sometimes you face a goalie who lets in 5 goals against the Sharks.
Oh wait, it’s tHE SAME FUCKIN GOALIE
Is this the reason the Mariners won’t spend money?
No chemistry. No anticipation. None of the skaters are on the same page. Every pass is either way out in front, into someone’s skates, or to a spot where no one is.
That was frustrating! I hope we find a way to get back into the win column soon before the Sharks catch us.
San Jose, Chicago, and Columbus all have the same wins as the Kraken. We are reaching crush depth, Captain. (‘-‘)7
Our entire team is matching Ovechkin’s energy this year.
This is quite the drop off from last year.
Our D seemed to step it up tonight, despite sub .900 I think Gru played well enough to win. Well under his GAA which is good lol.
Our offense just can’t put the puck behind a goalie to save their lives this year. Such a stark difference from a top of the league goal scoring team like we were last year.
These are character building losses
I can’t believe this game tonight. We get nearly 40 shots on goal, with 1 goal. They desperately need some wins, but this has been really frustrating to watch.
I feel they need to shake it up. This roster is not working.
This team is so utterly depressing. My Reddit recap this year is composed of my top 3 subs
r/Mariners
r/SeattleKraken
r/collapse
The holy trinity of doom 🥲
Ok NOW can we fire Dave Hakstol?
You could put a lifeless corpse in the opponents net and we would shoot it into his breadbasket everytime
Team just looks off out there, no chemistry at all. Dunn and McCann look like the only two people capable of scoring.
I think it’s dumo’s fault we lost

If Dumoulin is still on the ice next game I will frown.
AHHHHHHHHHHHH I HATE THIS TEAM
I’ll see you fellas on Saturday
Part of me is tempted to try watching something else during Kraken games like that person who kept watching Frozen during Mariners’ games in July for awhile because the Mariners kept winning most of their games during that period of time. Maybe that’s the superstitious spark that’s needed for us to win again.
Is there a good analytical source that explains wtf is wrong with this team?
I’ve been to a lot of bad games… this wasn’t one of em. Just no luck, but that shot differential is a good sign.
Another tough game. Truly filling the spot of a bottom 5 team (based on P% not actual standings but let’s be real it’s a better metric that points).
I’m curious where we go from here. If we go this home stretch and can only pick up 1-2 wins we’ll be lucky.
Something needs to change. I don’t think Hak has lost the room, but I don’t think coaching is helping reset the team in the necessary ways here.
I feel like we should also be looking at the market and figuring out who we can pick up and who we can ditch to help us out.
I think SOMETHING changes before Jan 1, but I can’t identify what it will be.
EDIT: For clarity this isn’t a « Fire Hak » post. Just pointing out that things are holistically not working.
Solid effort today, but I wish we also had skill or luck. I am tired of the pattern of losing to hat-trick (Canadian teams) or making the goalies heros (US teams). I guess we are hero-makers.
This game still hurt less than the rest of my entire week.
I did like what I saw from Ryker…. So… that’s a plus?!?
It’s just one of those years, isn’t it? We dominated that game, it was as complete of a game as we have played the entire year.
Pain.
