Cut bait on Wheeler. Othman said he could play right wing as well as left.
I want him up selfishly, but logically, I want to let him cook a bit more in hartford. The rangers have rushed a few too many prospects for my liking. Jonny Brodz has also earned the time he's getting. unless he (brodzinski) starts playing like trash, I say status quo. As much as I want Othmann up.
As much as I think he could do it, I'm very hesistant with bringing him up too early. I think be should definitely come up at some point, maybe for 9 games kind of deal. That should be when he is so good in the AHL that he can score like Brodz for the Wolfpack
I know he could do it but the kid should stay down ATLEAST for the year unless we lose a big time goal scorer. We don’t need him being rushed as well.
As the kids say, “let him eat”.
However we should totally revamp our defense.

That play where he was wide open but still decided to take it to the middle and use the defender as a screen was filthy. So disrespectful to that d-man and goalie. lol
There's just no need to call him up at this time.
However, if KK and Chytil continue to be absent, and if Wheeler and Brodzinski prove incapable, it's something to consider in February, prior to the trade deadline. For now, be patient and let the situation fully play out.
