I am a Habs fan and losing this game for me was expected with the way LA is playing, and their chance to set a new NHL consecutive road win record. The LA Kings are a serious contender. Unfortunately the chromedome Kent Hughes Habs are not. Congrats to LA for setting a new NHL record.

Do you know how to do basic math? Because yhe Kings are averaging 3.87 goals a game, which isn't anywhere close to five goals a game. Or do you just like saying things just to say yhem. I mean, Christ Almighty, your not even close. Your fourth grade math teacher is embarrassed for you.
I was wearing a custom "chromed" goalie mask over 20 years ago … and once upon a time the curator of a hockey museum offered to show all of them in an exhibit … I might take him up on that one day … 😉

As a life long Kings fan I really don't like the helmets.
The possibility of a Kings vs Rangers SCF is looking more and more possible by the day. It’d be sorta poetic as in 2014 Talbot was the backup for the Rangers and is now LA’s starter while Quick was LA’s starter and is now the Rangers backup.
I swear I'm not impersonating Eric Cartman when I say GO KINGS GO! Q Byfield is good now and here we have it. I hope this can be sustained.
But remember the Bruins had a historic season last year and got knocked out in the 1st round the playoffs. Sure so far they are having a great season but will they be able to do this come playoff time.
Hard to believe they have won 11 straight road games. Even those great Canadian teams of the seventies were not able to do that.
Those Kings jerseys they wore are the best jerseys in the nhl. They need black ones as well. Please don’t ever go to purple and black….just do black white and silver only.
The helmets are dumb. If they are going to do that, make them German helmets with iron crosses and a spike on top. Like that hot rod by Ed Roth 🙂

I hate east coast bias with a passion. If Kopitar was in Chicago or New York or Toronto he'd be talked about in the same sentence as Bergeron.

As someone who was a fan of Talbot while he was with the Wild, good to see him thriving with another team. Also very happy with Gus Bus possibly part of the longterm future, would never have imagined the possibility of the Flower retiring as a Wild player, and the bright future with the absolute Brick Wall that is Jesper.

Honestly, the scariest thing about the kings is they do not give you the middle of the ice, ever. They play such a solid team D strategy as well, it means their goalis just need to be solid taking shots from outside the house all game. I aways hate playing the kings beucase they just seem to always play as a tight knit squad game in and game out.
