  1. Can you do the Blackhawks old horn? From at least 2000-2005. I've been dying to figure out the Blackhawks goal celebration before Chelsea Dagger came out

  2. This sounds like the goal horn from the old Meadowlands Arena in East Rutherford, NJ!

  3. i dont understand why they got rid of this… its ridiculous…this was the best… and they ruined it the past couple of years

  4. They won the Cup three times with this horn. Their decision to replace it makes absolutely no sense to me.

  5. I love the horn, but I'm sadden that the horn is actually a sfx. I would love the model so if the Sun Devils hockey club gets a real hockey rink, the horn would be used there.

  6. Although I will say the Prudential Center is a much better arena, I still miss the swamp (Continental Airlines Arena) so friggin much. It may have been an overpriced dump that was extremely cavernous and tight, but I swear to god, during big games or playoff runs, those crowds of 18,000 would make noise that was as loud as the old Yankee Stadium. This goal horn certainly added to the sheer level of hype.

The only thing that wasn’t terrible in CAA was the atmosphere, but I’d go as far that it had possibly the most electrifying atmosphere of any NHL arena. I’m definitely biased because I’m a Devils fan, but no arena before or since has matched Continental’s atmosphere.

Prudential Center is a much better place to watch a game, but it lacks the mystique and aura that electrifies the crowd like the Meadowlands did. Maybe if they bring this horn back, that could change.

  7. Who else remembers the 2 games against Montreal and Calgary when the end of period horn went nuts

  8. Devils have not been the same since moving away from The Meadowlands. They were unstoppable in their playoff home games in this very arena
