  1. Not a bunch of scoring chances in the first half of the game. Would've been nice to have a young kid who creates scoring opportunities on the ice!

  2. Phew… and then all of the sudden, the universe makes sense again.. good to see ya back low qual!!!

  3. Glad to see you back and keeping a positive attitude when life is being a bitch. Hope everything and everyone is healthy!

  4. They drop games against buffalo every year, I'm not too concerned by this loss. Dont forget that they got beat by Buffalo last year too, during the greatest regular season in NHL history. As a side note: how good of a sign is it when, after a loss, you actually think that your rookie center could have changed the game?

  5. Hope you enjoyed Toronto, come to Vancouver next time. British Columbians are better in every way. I usually pump your tires Ian, but for once I'm going to disagree. Geekie is good, his will to win the puck is top five on the team. He wants it, he's just not getting it. They should try him with Coyle and Freddy a few more times. I like JVR now but I agree he poked the pooch in that Sabres game. Hope the old lady is okay, say hi to Velma and that other idiot.

  6. Glad to hear everything's going alright now, life loves to throw those curveballs at ya from time to time, sorry I didn't say anything on Twitter, but I didn't wanna say anything without knowing any info on it so I wouldn't potentially offend. Also glad to hear you had an amazing trip to Toronto.

Onto the Buffalo game. It isn't even that the B's played bad, it's moreso that Buffalo was desperate for a win. They did anything and everything they could, putting every single ounce of energy into every shift. Levi played out of his mind and the Sabres took advantage of every little opportunity. B's had a lot of amazing chances as well but jut couldn't capitalize like Buffalo did. Since it's been a minute since the game happened I don't remember all my notes. Hoping McAvoy recovers soon, Lohrei looked alright for stretches, still obviously has his struggles, but he has shown us again why he is a future top 4 D for the Bruins. Missing Forbort and Poitras showed last night as well, but even if they were in the game I don't know how much that would've changed. Gryz I'm still a bit worried about, but he's slowly getting out of his funk it seems.

All in all, just one of those games. Need to see a good bounceback tomorrow obviously, Arizona is playing way above expectations (and is my new favorite Western Conference team this year with Seattle being… Well… Seattle) and should give the B's a good challenge. Go B's? GO B'SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!

  7. Twitter is popping off about the bruins like they're are some sort of shitty team….bro the bruins made history last season and right now we are in a new chapter

  8. Hang in there Ian. Take any time you need. We surely understand. It's great to have you here though. 👍 I hope all turns out well.

  9. Godspeed Low Qual

I was (and still am) not doing well, was extremely low energy last night. Was dealing with a nasty, pounding headache the entire game. Fever/chills. Reminds me of symptoms I had last August…if you catch my drift.

Was cursing out the Bruins in the dying minutes of the 3rd. OVER 2 MINUTES OF OFFENSIVE ZONE PRESSURE. 1? Shot. Only for Pasta to almost put it in his own next from almost the back of the Sabres goal. I was irritated, my brother (who wasn’t helping my headspace) was watching The Videogame Awards in the same room (I get irritated by background noises when watching Hockey). You know how brotherly love is.

Anyways. GO B’s! Let’s put some heat in against the ‘Yotes!
