They are certainly better at it than last season. Wish they were better at scoring off of sustained pressure in the offensive zone.

The term « off the rush » sure isn’t confusing at all lol

It’s really interesting graphic. It’s also incredible how we sustained scoring despite not actually being great in possession and in transition. And a lot of ways it’s kind of remarkable, I think it speaks really well to what’s possible with what Lalonde is trying to do with his team.
One thing worth noting is that while we’ve become much deeper as a roster, we haven’t *dramatically* increased our talent levels. We definitely improved in some key areas, which is immense (adding compher and Ghost, and replacing Lindstrom with a guy like Holl, etc), but we are by no means an elite team in terms of talent. I think we’re winning, and maybe sometimes losing, based on the system we have in place. But it makes me feel really good about where we can go with a bolstering of talent over time. Even short term with a guy like Kane, but long-term with continuing to get better and better players in our lineup.

Who is 3rd in goals per game? And how many goals are they giving up to not be in the top 3rd of the standings?
