Indeed a fantastic post…nothing like the voice of Mr. Danny Gallivan…so many nights I listened to the Sunday night HNIC national hockey broadcast…before it was eventually scrapped in the mid 70's. Used to love to be in bed with my little transistor radio under the covers. Listening to Danny Gallivan, Bill Hewitt and DanKelly. There was something special about those radio broadcasts…used to listen to the Calgary Centennial broadcasts too. Loved all the discussion and commentary after the whistle…The sounds of the crowd and organ. Shame the intermissions and post game were cut out of this, cant get enough of Gallivan's insight and delivery.
Look at that team picture and look at those nice clean boards! Thats the way the boards should look IMO.
